I couldn’t believe it.

Part of me had hoped for something, anything, but I never really thought it’d happen this soon. Not that I was complaining. In fact, just the opposite.

Never looking away from Alexa, I climbed into bed, following after her as my heart hammered inside my chest. The mattress shifted under our weight, the sound of it punctuating the silence of our room, and I hurried to close the gap between us. Gingerly, I threaded my fingers into her silky hair, enjoying the way it caressed my fingers, and leaned into her.

Once her lips touched mine, that electric feeling returned in full force, sending a surge of energy down my body. It made my heart beat even faster, and it heightened my senses like the most powerful of drugs. I could smell the lavender of Alexa’s shampoo, just as I could feel the frantic beat of her own heart. Not only that, but I could feel lust itself pulsing inside her, like some magical energy with a heartbeat of its own.

Slowly, I parted her lips with the tip of my tongue, the warmth of her mouth drawing me in. We kissed passionately, limbs moving fluidly as we explored each other’s bodies, and we only stopped to catch our breath.

Resting my forehead against hers, I looked into her hazel eyes. They were brimming with lust and anticipation, but the same could be said of me. I had never felt anything like this before. It was an overwhelming feeling of pure want...no, it was even more than that.

It was a need.

It was hunger.

I crushed my mouth against hers, allowing my hands to wander down the side of her body. I took my time as I traced the contour of her figure, and once my hands were firmly planted on her waist, I pulled her against me. She responded by wrapping her legs around my waist, trapping me in place, and gave my bottom lip a playful bite.

“I can’t wait anymore,” she whispered, her fingers roaming down my chest. She grabbed my belt, unbuckled it with a swift motion, and all my blood rushed straight down between my legs. “I need you, Aiken, and I need you right now.”

“I think you’ll have to be patient,” I threw back at her, nibbling at her neck as I said it. The fragrance of her exposed skin was maddening, and I didn’t want to hurry. No, this was a precious moment, and I wanted to savor it. None of it could go to waste. “I’m not done exploring your body.”

I pushed the thin straps of her dress down, baring her shoulders. I kept on tugging the satiny fabric down, only stopping when it was bunched around her waist. Kneeling between her legs, I looked down at her half-naked figure, my cock growing so hard I almost expected it to rip its way out of my pants—again.

“How can you be this beautiful?” I muttered, the words slipping out from between my lips. Using my index finger, I traced an imaginary line from her neck to the valley between her breasts.
